According to the back of this photo, this young girl is Loella A. Fessenden, aged 6 years 11 months. The photo was taken in Boston, Massachusetts. A little research revealed that Loella is a very rare name (luckily for me!) because she was easy to find. She was the daughter of Fred and Hattie Fessenden, born about 1897 in Massachusetts. She appears to have been an only child. She married Joseph Cloonan, and in the 1930 census the couple is living with her parents.
