- 1931 High School Class, Plymouth, Michigan
- Viola L. Luttermoser, Vice Pres.
Viola Lillian Luttermoser was the Vice President of her Plymouth, Wayne Co., Michigan High School in 1931. This is an absolutely beautiful picture of her. Viola was born in March of 1914 in Detroit (also in Wayne County). Her parents were Edward Luttermoser & Lillian Beckbisinger. Viola was the oldest of several children. She and her family lived in Wayne county for all of her youth; Detroit in 1920, Livonia in 1930 and 1940. In 1940, most of the children were grown but still at home. Father Edward was a Real Estate broker, Viola worked as a secretary at the Electric company and brother Oscar was a children’s aid investigator.
Viola passed away recently. She died on December 30, 2011 at the age of 97! She was preceded in death by her husband Niels Pedersen. I hope her family likes the new photo addition to her life. Her obituary is online too; its great to see the resemblance in these photos that are 80 years apart! Rest in peace Viola.
I stumbled on this page… my father, Nelson Bentley, wrote a poem recounting his Elm/Stark spelling bee showdown with Oscar Luttermoser in the 1920s!
